Filling Recommendations

All Bean Bag Lab bean bags are supplied unfilled and include an integrated inner liner with lockable safety zipper.

Choose the filling that best suits your preferred level of comfort:

Classic Comfort
Polystyrene beans provide lightweight, supportive seating and are widely available.

Premium Comfort
A blend of foam and beans offers a softer, more supportive feel with reduced compression over time.

Luxe Lounge
A combination of foam, shredded latex and beans creates a plush, sink-in lounging experience.

Filling materials are available from many home furnishing, foam and bean bag suppliers. A quick online search will help you find options in your local area.

How to Fill Your Bean Bag

1. Check the Size Guide

Ensure you have the recommended amount of filling for your chosen size.

2. Unlock the Safety Zipper

Use the supplied key to access the inner liner.

3. Prepare Your Space

Choose an indoor area away from drafts or open windows.

4. Fill Slowly

Carefully pour your chosen filling into the inner liner. Two people can make the process easier.

5. Adjust for Comfort

Close the inner liner and test the feel. Add more filling if required.

6. Secure the Bean Bag

Close the outer cover and lock the safety zipper using the supplied key.

7. Clean Up

Vacuum any stray filling and keep loose filling away from children and pets.
